"The Plough" is a partly animated video with footage from Havanna, shot in spring 2007. The music in the video is a cover from the song "El Arado" ("The Plough") by the Chilean political sing and song writer Victor Jara (1932 - 1973). The narrator of this song is an alienated peasant who dreams of a better life as he tills his exhausted soil-- "Like the tight yoke/I have the fist of hope/because everything changes." In this video I sing "El Arado" in Swedish and the musical arrangement are made by Erik Bünger, Swedish artist and composer.
